Are you a musician in the Edmonton area looking for the chance to play in an ensemble that plays a diverse range of genres and styles? The Rocky Jazz String Orchestra is looking for players for the upcoming 2026-27 season!

Auditions take place through a video submission format. The deadline for submissions is June 12, 2026 and results will be communicated with players via email by the end of June 2026.

If you would prefer to audition in-person, please contact us through email at rockyjazzstringorchestra@gmail.com before May 15, 2026 to schedule a time. If you are able to submit a recording, simply follow the standard audition process outlined.

Rehearsals

The ensemble has weekly rehearsals on every Tuesday, 7:30-9:30 pm at Brandenburg Music (15907 100a Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5P 0L7).

Fees

Membership fees are $150.00 for the 2026-2027 season. Fees will cover instruction, venue costs, and rentals, etc. Financial assistance is available to musicians who may be in need.
